A fellow TBer contacted me and suggested that people add the country where they are located in the thread title. Fr'instance:

    Status Empathy Bass, $1500 (UK)

    ...or something like that.

Alternatively, non-US sellers could add country of origin, while US sellers (which comprise the bulk of the classified ads) could omit it by default.

    Questions, comments?

Some indication of where the seller is would be good.

I suggest that the default method would be a price in $. This would signify that the seller is a yank and wants US currency. Any other seller (limey aussie whatever) could specify currency origin in an efficient way. eq

    Status Empathy 1500 Euro (Germany)
    Status Empathy 1500 Sterling
    Status Empathy 1500 Canadian
    Status Empathy 1500 shekels

  3. while i think using the currency to indicate country works just as well, some people still don't put the price in the title :)
