    I don't think used basses should be re-finished.
    It has a nice used look with no real damage, and it shows some history of the instrument.
    Reassembling this will take no longer than an hour or so, with just having the tuners, p'ups, preamp and bridge installed, putting some strings on and give it a basic setup.
