a "universal" rock sound from a 4x10??

couldnt really find what i was lookin for in search...

i'm only gonna be gettin one big xmas present this year, due to the cost of a new cab, and i really need my money's worth...i'm lookin for the best "universal" sounding 4x10...i know i want a 4x10, and i'll prolly be powering with a GK bl600 or somewhere close to that...and i need the kind of sound from the cab that will be fittin for pretty much anything from that classic skynyrd sound, to some chili peppers, to beach stuff lol, big range but that's what my band plays...we're a wide variety bar band lol. i usually can get almost any tone i want from my BA115 w/ the EQ, and i use a PA head to run another 15" cab, so it carries the tone across to the 15 pretty good...but anyway, are there any cheaper priced cabinets capable of responding to my wide EQ changes?

ps. i plan on gettin an EQ pedal, cuz adjusting the amp every song gets annoying...

 

my price range is around the 300 dollar line...the only 2 i really know of there that sound good is GK and Behringer, but i hear the GK cabs dont last long when run at any decent volume for long...are the behringer 410's good quality? also not sure how expensive the hartke transporters are
