Could a warwick thumb cop a wal tone with a bit of knob twirling? If anyone could post a sound demo of themselves playing Schism or Stinkfist, I would be eternally grateful, and hide under your bed to "thank" you.

Bridge pickup crank the mids. Slight treble and bass boost. That's the closest that I've gotten by playing finger style. Never used a pick. You want that Justin bite use a pick and roll up the neck a bit.

Not even close. I've had a few Thumbs here, friend has one too, they're miles apart.
  4. Get yourself a G&L L2000 They have so much top end punch and sound combo's that Im sure you can get something :)
