a way to remove the Squier logo off of my old bass?

    is there someway to remove the writing on here? nail polish remover? :confused: im thinking about maybe adding new a new pickup and buying a new pick guard but i dont want to spend all this money on a squire...i would want to put my own decal like nino. i know this is immature but its how i am

    Steel wool. 0000 gage (the finest there is) will usually do it, or something coarser first, then the finer stuff to finish it off.

    After that, buff up your frets with the stuff, and use it to smooth the gunk off the back of your neck.

    I love 0000 steel wool. :p

    Well removing the logo doesn't make it NOT a Squire... :rolleyes:

    They are permananent I'm afraid.
    They are laser etched all the way through like a stick of rock candy.
    The only way to remove the logo is to saw the headstock off ............... :rolleyes:
