A week later.... Robelli bass plays well!!

    I have their cheap MusicMan style bass, given me by my brother. This one, the SWD:

    It played pretty badly. I mucked around with it last week, adjusted the truss rod, seemingly to no avail. I spent time the past couple days considering giving it away, or maybe putting a different neck on it.

    So I pull it out this morning.... and the action is awesome!! The neck needed time to settle out. It still needs fret dressing so I don't rip my hands open on it, but it is now a playable instrument. This makes me very happy, as the one thing I needed was a playable 4 string fretted bass.

    Yes, Winning! Yea, that's a good deal. Congrats on getting it playable. It's nice to get a "new" bass just by figuring out how to make a few adjustments.
