id personally tweak it to have some better fret access, but it looks funky. I like!
that's going to be epic
Is it just me or does cutting zebra wood smell disgusting?
The layout is just a rough idea. the upper and lower horns will be more contoured. I still need to shape the body.
Oh, and as for the smell. It sure beats Walnut!!!
Wow! I love that shape!
I'd probably stretch that upper horn some, for balance, but man does it look good...
EDIT: actually scratch that, the horn reaches the 12th dosen't it? I need to get glasses before I comment again....
gonna be killer!
Mine has a carvin neck though.
Also was missing a couple of knobs for awhile.
Sorry about the rock shot, its the only one I had where you could actually see (well mostly) the whole bass.
Hmm, I love the smell of cutting Walnut!
Cool shape. "Little in the middle, but she got much back."
yeah John, I like the smell...not the taste! As for the Zebrawood it tastes like zebra poop.
Phew, it's a template! From the first pic I thought you might be making the first ever bass made from Camembert
Nice shape though, not a bit cheezy
Use a saw rather than your teeth, clear that right up...
Here is the body partially rounded over, I need to finish it... I am going to make the body fully rounded over.
here is the hardware.
Why is this headed and made of zebrawood? It should be headless and made of llamawood!
If you find me some llamawood then I'll use it!
First sigged reply! yesss!
It's not llamawood but its wood llama
Jason of Rickett Customs is making me one like this in mother of pearl pretty soon!
