ABBA bassist Rutger Gunnarsson passed away

Very Sorry to hear this,he's a big reason i still love listening to Abba.
RIP,Rutger.

 

A truly gifted musician has left the building for good. Sadly missed not only here in Sweden.

Oh man, simply stunning pop bass playing by this talented fellow! RIP. BEAUTIFUL flowing lines. As above, KNOWING ME KNOWING YOU & Dancing Queen were two fantastic examples of many.

 

I have played in several ABBA tribute acts over the years. And it was the best thing I could have done as a player without a doubt. Always loved and appreciated Rutgers playing and arrangements. Very sorry to hear of his passing.. A brilliant musician.
