Howdy all, just wanted to let you know that we've launched http://www.aberivera.com . If you aren't sure who he is, he is the luthier responsible for Kevin Eubanks and Pat Martino's guitars as well as Robert Hurst, Jerry Jemmott and Russel Blake's basses. Jaco even played an Abe Rivera!

Anyway, we're looking for help to build the site as info on Ave is EXTREMELY hard to come by. So, if you know anything, have pics of any Riveras, or even own one, let us know!

    Thanks,

  2. why did you post this in both Basses and Miscellaneous?

    nice looking basses, BTW.

    Nice basses!

A little too baroque for my taste, but still great work.

    [EDIT]
People are usually observant enough, most of the regulars go through all the forums with a fine comb on a daily basis.
Redundant postings are moved or deleted by the mods in most cases.
It's a borderline case anyway, since it's close to putting a free ad in here, which is not liked too much here.
Yours is still ok IMO, just don't overdo it.

Oh, and welcome to TB! :)

[EDIT²] On second thoughts, make that way too baroque, sorry.

That AR that appeared in the Jaco: Modern Electric Bass video is simply awesome.
It is my #1 fantasy fretless!
I once spoke briefely with Jerry Jemmott who said he's had it fretted since. I do not recall if he said he still owns it or not. I think he *may* have said he does.

Thanks for the info. I'll take a look & see what Mr Rivera is doing now!
