I played a friends Godin fretless A4, with TI JF-344's the other night, I was really floored! I'm thinking of getting an A5, fretted, or fretless. Any likes or dislikes? What's a good price for a used Godin? Anything out there that is similar? A Taylor or Turner Ren would be nice, but the budget does not permit it.

    Thanks, H2

Cool basses, I just wouldnt call them acoustic basses.

As long as your goin plugged in and you like the tone, I say you go for it! Go fretless is my opinion. I wish I got the fretless Tacoma instead of the fretted.
