Hi all, after a long time viewer of the forums I now have a reason to start a post:)
I have the chance to buy a ABM EVO I 500, I just wondered if yall
could tell me if this is a good amp? I ideally want to buy the EVO II version of the amp. What I wanted to know was whether there is enough of a difference between the EVO I and II to warant me saving up to get the EVO II version, or should I jump at the chance of getting an EVO I?

if you like the ampeg sound but want more flexibility and versatility, let's say the ashdown is between ampeg and trace, Evo 1 isnt any bad at all, there only minor changes since evo II

I got a Mark 1 EVO 500 4x10 combo about 3 months ago.. awsome.. Get the tube pre amp cranked up, sounds great. as far as im aware, you probly wont be able to tell the differance between mark 1 and 2. except the DI on the mark 1 can be a bit noisy.. not sure if they improved this for the newer models..
