about time Jason Black gets some recognition

    This is the first time I've ever seen him recieve any notice. I saw Hot Water Music last year, and Jason's playing was the hilight of the show. Its really sad that he is not mentioned among other great punk bassists. I personally think he is better than Matt Freeman
     
  2. I feel like resurrecting this thread which never really took off. TB seems a lot more active these days though, so would noone else agree that Jason Black really is a superb player? His work on all their albums has been superb, and most recently, the recorded tones have been amazing! Props to Brian McTernan, who quite often isnt my favourite producer.

    Dude, im sooooo with you. He is actualy my favorite player and my biggest influence.

    Check out the Draft, his new band

    and Unitas, a side project.

    I saw him play with the draft a couple weeks ago, and he was more inspiring than ever.

    For anyone that has never heard this guy, go check him out!!!
