    hey guys,
    im looking for some more good bassists that i can possibly listen/learn from. reciently i have gotten into weather report and victor bailey. also i would prefer if i could get these cds at best buy or my local music store. i really wanna hear more bassists. your suggestions are thankfully welcomed.

    Nice cd, too, Mike!
    (Mike's tone is somewhat similar to Patitucci/Jaco).

    I'll second Gary Willis & Dave Holland.

    How 'bout Oteil Burbridge? Paul Jackson? Buster Williams? Gary King?

    Any else pick up the Jimmy Haslip/Robben Ford/Vinnie Colaiuta disc?
