Taylor played upright bass and trumpet for the Twisters, a four-man blues band from Vancouver. Pease is the drummer. Taylor died when the pickup he was driving struck a semi-trailer Saturday. The truck driver, Donald Galagun of Maple Ridge, also died. Pease, a passenger in the pickup, was airlifted to Vancouver with serious internal injuries. The other two band members, Dave "Hurricane" Hoerl and Brandon Isaak were travelling in a car behind the pickup. Their car slammed into the pickup during the accident, but they escaped serious injury. They were treated in hospital for minor injuries and released. Read more.
