Accidental Band Names- what did YOU hear today?

    For a year or so now, every time I overhear someone saying something that sounds like it would make a killer band name, I add it to a list on my phone. I haven't counted, but there's probably close to or beyond a hundred now, including such gems as "Surplus of Ducks," "Chicken-Fried Mistake," and "Walrus in Progress."

    This morning, I was proud to add "A Chunk of Oklahoma" to my list, right below "Gorgeous Goat," "Strip Wizards," and "The Gradual Inch."

    Beauty like this can occur anywhere at any time, spoken by anyone, so I've decided, why not cast a wider net?

    Keep your ears and minds open today, TB, and tell me- what did you hear that would be a killer band name?

    Explanations completely optional.

    I was in one called "panama birth canal" and one called "secret cervix" and another indian fusion band called "sri schmegma".

    I play in a church band and in one Sunday's homily I heard the perfect name for our little group: Blight on the City
    Can't remember what was being referred to...

    I also have a LONG list of collected potential names.
    My favorite original: The Sun-Starved Zipperheads
