    Well, as a bit of an explanation, I was making a goofy joke, but at the same time being serious...the three TMC albums from the mid-80’s were revered by a certain crowd; an all-star collection/project of acts on a particular British label, I was somewhat surprised that an almost identical name was appropriated by another British band(I was just making light of the situation). I won’t go into a long explanation of the music, but this should cover it...

    And yes, it’s gorgeous but melancholy stuff. The first album(the one pictured)was a big seller as an import in the US, and was finally released domestically. The other two albums suffered from a bit of diminishing returns as they were released, but one great thing is that they all featured a number of covers of overlooked tunes from the 60’s and 70’s that then found a new audience. One segment off that first album was even used in an American car commercial.

    I actually used that as a demo project name, years before that stupid movie came out(and ruined the value of it). Loved the connotations. Should have registered it, but at the time I wasn’t litigiously minded.
