Acme B2 Series II. Three way hifi cab with 2x10", mid driver and tweeter. 8 ohm 350 watt RMS version. Compact and loud cab with plenty of bass that will keep up with a full band. $200 obo. No shipping, but willing to meet. I'm in north central Mass.
Got a request for some more pictures and a couple of questions in PM's. I bought the cab used in 2012, so not sure of the exact age. Also a question about the light bulb in the crossover prompted my memory. I sent the crossover back to Acme for a repair right after I got. Midrange attenuator was not working correctly. Andy replaced a resistor and the midrange attenuator. Has worked awesome since without issue.
Best buy...even better if you can find a second cab and they do show up. This is the same manual I received when I bought my first Series II enclosure: http://acmebass.com/pdf/Series II Manual with Cover.pdf Riis
I have a GK MB200 , IT USED TO POWER 2X15 KUSTOM CAB. I HEAR THE ACME NEEDS ALOT OF WATTAGE TO MAKE THEM MOVE SOME AIR. ?
You amp probably does 140 watts @ 8 ohm. While I'm sure the Acme would sound pretty decent, it really needs 300+ watts to really strut its stuff. Riis
This is true.. I have 2 B-1 8 ohm Cabinets and use the Mesa D800 cranked. They really need to be pushed
Agreed. Sounds killer with enough power. Hoping someone jumps on this soon before I decide to keep it. Happens every time I pull something out of storage.
Killer cab, killer price! Put it in a cardboard box and take it to UPS; it will be sold in five minutes if you ship it....
