    Hey all,

has anyone tried using a subharmonizier or anything that does sub synthy bass tones with their Acme???

i know Andy says not to, but is it really that much of a taboo thing to do? will i really damage the speakers that badly???

  2. Naw, you'll only damage the speakers a little. Honestly I don't know, but if the manufacturer says it's not a good idea I'd be inclined to believe it.

It's not a good idea......one of the reasons I moved on from using Acmes, was the inabilty to handel filter pedals and especially octave boxes.
