Cabinet with tweeter is sold. Woofer cabinet is still available for $225.

Acme bass cabs are very hifi with extended bass response, which is great for 5 string basses, and smooth treble.

These 2 cabs work well together. One has the mid range and tweeter (both are adjustable for sensitivity) as well as the 2 x 10"'s, the other has just the 10" drivers. Together they work as a top quality 4x10. For small gigs you can just take the mid & tweeter equipped cab saving your back.

They are in good condition and everything works as it should.

Local pick up preferred (San Francisco East Bay). Not sure how to ship something like this.

I will get some pictures up soon.

I am selling because i have a Bergantino cn410 and do not need both set ups.

    Thanks for looking.

    Neil

  2. Is the price listed for both cabs or is that the price per cab?

Hi, what are the models, years. Also size and weight? Sorry for all the questions but I'm not familiar with Acme cabs.
    Thanks

Sounds like one cab is the LowB-2 and the other is the LowB-2W, with the latter being Andy's subwoofer version. Can you confirm? Also to echo an earlier request from alaskaleftybass:
    What Series (I, II, III)?
What is the cabinet impedance for each...4 ohms or 8 ohms?
Do you have pictures to send or post?
Thanks. I am an avid Acme user and interested in your cabs.

Thanks for the questions and apologies for the delay in replying. Pics are now posted which should answer the questions.

My guess is the cabs weigh about 40lbs each. I do not have a way to measure them accurately.

    They are both 8 Ohms.

I do not know when they were made. The Acme website has good information on the product generations.

    Thanks for everyones interest.

Thanks for the info. Unfortunately, I need 4 ohm cabs. However, if these two cabs "match", then they may be Series II. I believe that's when Andy introduced the B2W subwoofer version.

Just saw the pics. The B2 (3-way) IS a Series II, however it appears to have been reworked. It looks like the original carpet style cover and the metal trim has been replaced by something like a tough-coat bedliner coating. Also, the 10's look like they may not be original, but appear to be "correct".. The B2W looks original.

**4/29 edit: The 3-way may have been a late Series II when Andy started using the option for the "tough-coat" instead of the carpet.

GLWTS. They look like nice cabs!

I use the same rig as pic'd below. I've accented the lighting to better compare / contrast drivers. Andy uses a custom 10" driver wound to "go low"...the drivers pic'd are all original.

This is the correct way to stack two Acme B-2's!
