Acoustic 260 Mini Stack no longer in production?

I was just curious if anybody knows about this quirky and powerful product disappearing from the market. I have wanted to own one since I first saw/played it but I am an unemployed student. I just recently googled and saw it isn't really offered anymore. I really wanted the MK II with it's overdrive and DI.

Anybody know anything? Not just a confirmation of cancellation but a reason why? Was it too unique of a product?

Nevermind, I think only certain retailers stopped stocking it.
