Acoustic 360/361 Rig FS

Discussion in 'For Sale: Amps, Preamps, and Cabinets' started by ALRieseberg, Apr 7, 2009.

  1. Just came back from the studio. Bank account all but eliminated+about $1200 on plastic . Crying shame I have to sell this rig, but duty calls.

Serial #L2128. In good cosmetic condition, only a couple rips in the tolex, and some bumps on the pre-amp as you can see in the picture. Sounds incredible, has that fantastic projecting honk. Not a whole lot of low end but posseses tone for miles. Asking $1700
Would be into trading for a Mesa/Boogie 400+ or other tube bass head!

    Explain the 360/361 combo.

Did they originally have a 360 head/360 bottom or were they always 360/361?

  9. The 361 cabinet has a 1x18 folded horn, and the 200-watt rms power amp built into the cabinet ( I have two ). The 360 head is the pre-amp section with a built in fuzz channel and tuning fork that with the right effects can get some other worldly noise effects going!
Yes its always been called the 360/361 rig
  10. Any Oregonians out there?!?!

just-out-of-curiosity bump: does the cab take any old (or new) preamp, or just the acoustic?

If I lived closer I'd seriously consider trading my Mesa 400+ for this.
