Acoustic bass and Marshall AS50R?

Discussion in 'Basses [BG]' started by TenorClef, Feb 12, 2005.

  1. Marshall Acoustic AS50R and Acoustic Bass Guitar.

Would this work? Does an acoustic bass guitar require a bass amp or would it work through an acoustic amp like the one mentioned?

Reason, I have an upright bass which is'nt always practical for moving about to gigs but i like the acoustic sound so i thought maybe an acoustic bass guitar which is more portable could be a possible solution. Next main issue would be whether i'm going to be able to use this amp i have or whether its just plain crazy and therefore invest in one of those great looking Roland cube amps(small large sound apparently?).
