I bought a cheap Rogue bag from Musician's Friend. Fine for carrying the bass around gently, but not much padding at all.

I have a cello gigbag for mine, fits like a glove. can't remember the brand though

  7. I have a Michael Kelly one.. its a nice gig bag, though it isn't going to protect it from blunt force or anything like that..

I got super lucky. They cleared one out at GC for $200 on labor day. It's a great bass but the string pins are junk. They need replaced. I have a godin A4 up for sale in here and I briefly tried there pins and they work fine so now I know what to get. I need to order from Godin. KILLER bass for $200. Decent overall.

    Thanks,
    Joe

I'm thinking that I'm just SOL with trying to find something to protect my acoustic... I have a Sonata that is never fun to take anywhere outside the house because I can't find a case (or even a bag for that matter) that will fit this particular bass.
