Acoustic Basses

    Ladies and Gentlemen of the TalkBass, I've been thinking of getting myself an acoustic bass guitar at some point soon. I looked around online, and I found an acoustic-electric that looks like it's got decent enough reviews, but I'd like to know what some of you think.

    It's the Dean EAB Acoustic-Electric bass, and at $150, it's a lot better for me price-wise than any other bass.

    Anyone have any opinions on it or others?

    I played a Dean but it had some junky strings on it and needed a setup pretty bad, but it felt pretty solid. I went ahead and bought a michael kelly which turned out to be pretty nice for 300 bucks. If you get a dean you're probably gonna want to put some new strings and get it setup first.
