Hello guys, I hope this is the right forum to post this "poll". I hear a lot of peoples saying that the modern, hi-voltage active eletronics have a lot less dynamics than older eletronics and/or passive configurations. What do you think about this?
I think it could be true... but it probably depends from pickups more than electronics...

I think it depends on what electronics you're using, but my Bart NTBT sounds just like it does in passive, but with boosted gain and I can add/take away more bass and/or treble with the EQ.

Well, my luthier said that the NTBT is good... not the best electronics on the Earth, but a good compromise of quality/price/other factors.
I have it on my six strings, if I remember well.
