Active pups for a Highway 1 Jazz?

I'm wanting to upgrade to active pups in my Hwy 1. My two "main" basses are a Warrior Soldier 5 with dual Bart Soaps and 18v Bart pre and a Musicman Stingray with stock pup but Seymour Duncan pre. I'm pretty happy the sound of my Jazz, as is, however, the volume difference is what I'm wanting to "fix". I have a buddy who can get me a pretty good deal on Basslines, so I figured that I'd go that route. First of all, does SD make a pre for Fender like they do for MM? Just an entire pot replacement with added pre? If so, is it solid? If not, are there any happy/horror stories with any active basslines? Keeping in mind, I'd lke to keep a similar sound as now, "enhanced is ok".

Basslines AJJ-2 Lightnin' Rods Active Jazz-Bass Pickup were recommend by earlier mentioned friend.

    Thanks, Jamie
