The MEC preamp in my 1997 Warwick Corvette died and I'm looking at replacing it with an Aguilar OBP-2SK active preamp. Someone before me installed Seymour Duncan active basslines in the bass. The Aguilar preamp seems to work best with 18 volts.

My question is: will the Basslines work with an 18v supply or will it kill them? So far all the wiring diagrams I've seen for them show hooking them up to a 9v supply.

And no, i haven't contacted anyone from Seymour Duncan yet.

Id really appreciate any help with this.

Got my answer today from Seymour Duncan. They say the pickups will handle 18v.
