Hi guys - wondered if you could help me - just got an active swa1501 sub to add to my active top boxes (alto ps4ha's) and also a couple of dual channel compressors witha beringer deq1024 equalizer. I am in a loud falsetto screaming punk rock metal band.
What i want to know is this: what is the best way to set this up?( we have drum mics, di's as well as vocal mics) I heard about using a graphic to make the special resnant frequencies of chest cavities louder for the kick drum - but at what point in the signal path should i use the compessors/limiters/graphic eq's?
Sorry about the newb question, but i want my band to sound the best it can do - and i am pretty sure this equipment can do it with the know how. oh yeah - havea mackie dfx12 mixer if that helps....
    Thanks for any input!
