Just for fun....and excluding adult films! ;)
    My opinion:

    Gary Oldman
    Tom Hanks
    Christopher Walken
    Robert Deniro
    Keifer Sutherland
    Chistian Slater
    Daniel Day Lewis
    Sophie Marceau

    Tom Cruise...almost
  2. Gary Oldman
    Cate Blanchett
    Matt Damon
Edward Norton (i haven't seen "keeping the faith")

    on opposite day:
Ben Affleck -- seriously, the only movie where he's really good is "dazed and confused".

Oh yeah I've got lots of faves...oh, excluding adult films...ummmmmm..that guy...the one who did that show? yeah him. :bag:

Kevin Spacey does great creepy characters.
Steve Buscemi does creepy characters great.
Viggo Mortensen can make a crappy movie watchable.
Ben Stiller can make a watchable movie crappy, but I'll still watch, even if I'm embarassed later.
Willem Dafoe creeps me out but he's really talented.
    Kevin Kline can be awesome.
    Denzel Wahington is really good(usually)
If Kevin Smith directs it I will watch.
If Jon Keeyes directs it I'll watch and then laugh at myself for it.
If Shannon Elizabeth is in it I'll watch it.
If Meryl Streep is in it I'll try not to, until my wife makes me watch it.
I'll watch Uma Thurman no matter what.
Anything with Linda Fiorentino is a winner, but I may require shots afterward.
Same with Angelina Jolie, but the shots go on l onger.

I like you list. Jean Reno in the Professional was spot on. And I don't think I've seen Wittaker do a role poorly. He's been in poor movies, but much like Morgan Freeman, he shines.

Hell, Morgan Freeman is pretty much always a badass. No matter how crappy the film (Dreamcatcher) he always manages to come out unscathed.

As someone named Kief, I feel it's my duty to let you know that Kief(and Kiefer and Kiefo) are all spelled with the golden rule of I before E, except after C, but since C is not K, then there should be no konfusion ;)
