hi people, with a new to me guitar that has a fuller sound i'm trying to drill down on my sound a bit more again and once again fighting GAS. here is my question: is it worth it to buy a separate compression pedal or just stick with the compressors offered stock on the b3n? i know some of the ones like the darkglass have a lot of control options and it seems i don't know how to access so many controls on the b3n or they just don't have them. plus, the downside i am finally realizing is that i have no real time control (or at least not easy real time control) on the b3n. once i set the controls i tend to not touch them while i'm playing. that is one big reason i have been thinking about getting a separate pedal. i don't know any other bassist that i could borrow one and compare at home, and they can be pricey for a decent one. so are the stand alone compressors better or more effective than the ones on a multi fx like the zoom? thanks for any experience you could share...
