I have a SABDDI on the way and if it doesn't work out, I'm going to try an SIB Fatdrive or possibly an EH English Muff'n. I have tried the Fulltone Bassdrive and didn't find it was my cup of tea. I've tried the Tubeworks Real Tube units and found them to be OK but they sucked out a good amount of low end. I also tried a DAM Ezekiel 25:17 and it was cool, but not what I needed.

My questions are in regard to the Muff'n:
    Is it true by-pass?
Does it suck out all the low end since it is actually a guitar pedal?
Is it noisy? All the EH pedals I've owned have had a ton of RFI associated with them.

Any other non-bass-sucking pedals that utilize an actual tube besides those listed in this post?

I'm looking for fat and warm tubey OD with definition. Basically a dirty channel to my EA's crisp, clean, hi-fi goodness.
