ADA cabs...

    the store near my house got sealed in factory box NOS units from a store that closed down.
    I can get a deal on the 1x15 and 2x10.
    are they any good? are they reliable? what speakers are in there?

  5. I think ADA went out of business several years ago,(because no-one bought the crap), so you should get an awesome deal. I remember there stuff had super-inflated MSRP's like $999 for the pre-amp that I saw for $4-500. So if the guy says $400 for the "$800" 2x10", thats no deal. I'd be looking for $3-400 for both, if you like the sound, NO MORE.

    The 1x15 ADA cabs have a 400 watt EV speaker. I don't know what was used in the 2x10.

    hmm...EV speakers are supposed to be good I guess.
    I think the best answer is to go there and try those cabs with multiple heads, using one of their Warwicks basses and that would be the best indication to how it will sound at the end.
