Add some flash to your Fender

Is your P or J bass looking a little plain, or has it been neglected because you bought a new active frettless, neck through? Give your old standby bass some love....
I just finished putting a chrome pickup cover and ashtray(bridge cover) on my p-bass, and it has breathed new visual life into my P-bass. The combined cost of the covers was under 35 bucks ordered from my local guitar shop. I chose a J-bass ashtray because it has the fender "f" on it, even though it makes covers alot of the strings.
Has anyone else done this? I was curious if I have the only p-bass with a j-bass ashtray on it.
