I recently bought a Fender 1975 RI form Sam Ash. CLICK HERE to see it. I bought just because I wanted it. I've been looking over my collection & most of my basses are Jazz basses of some kind, so I had to make a change.

In the past few weeks, I've been wanting a MusicMan of some sort. I went to the few Sam Ash's close by & I saw a SR5 @ the Carle Place store in LI. Just what I wanted, black on black w/a maple board. (Homer voice on: mmmmmm, donuts) Since I had the Fender for almost 2 months, I called the store I used to work @ in Brooklyn & I had no problem doing an exchange.

I don't know when I'm gonna use it in a band situation because my drummer sprained his ankle pretty bad. We even had to cancel or gig on May 18th. :( So I have a new bass & no one to play it with.
2. oh nino, i see your using the

NINO B clause i intorduced, I'm sure it says you can't use it, well in the fine print anyway.

It's only fo those with less than a barn full of basses, Sheds are acceptable

That bass looks great. Wonder how long you'll keep this one, though. :)

I've a got black pick guard for my black Lull--currently it's got the tortoise guard on it. I should put it on.

Enjoy the 'ray 5!

I thought when I read the title, Spector. . .Sadowski. . .wha'ts next? Schecter? Or maybe the much sought-after (but hard to find) Spadowski? :D

Though you did end up with a Stingray and a seventy-five. . . :)

I meant different as in not being a Spector or a Sadowsky. ;)
I already have one. A Model T (Rob DeLeo STP Model).

No, I had the 75 RI for 2 months but I exchanged it for the MusicMan SR5:) Sorry for the confusion.:)
14. I'm glad you found yourself a Stingray, Nino! I sure hope you enjoy it (though I'm nearly certain you will).

Your baby looks pretty similar to mine except mine is in a little more used condition, and the neck has a darker tint to it. I'll have pics of my collection eventually. :)

I just saw a fretless MusicMan going for a very fair price. Tempting...

Congrats, Nino... as usual you are a bad influence;)
18. Cool man! I'm still totally in love with the one I bought a couple of months ago. Now I need some Spectors and Sadowskys...........:D

That's the one. SWAAAA--EEEEETTTT!!!

Although I stopped by GC this afternoon on the way home and they had a sweet sparkleflake sunburst one that I dug as well. But the orange is were it is at for me.

Maybe for Christmas? The wife will have forgotten about the Q5 and the upright by then.

20. I really like the new blue dawn (blueburst with metal flake) and sparkly pearl white finishes. I tried a sparkle white Sterling at Guitar Center and it looked and sounded terrific. Like all basses that are half decent at GC, it had something wrong with it--this one happened to be missing the switch tip and a knob.
