adding 8 more tracks!!! help

    i have a roland interface 8 tracks at a time...but i need 16

    so what can i do...

    someone was telling me to get a beri ultragain pro..and adat light pipt with wordclock..

    shoud i do this?

    i use cake walk protools le cubase soundforge...etc

    You mention Pro Tools LE, I can only assume you mean the MBox. If its a 001 or 002 then you have 8 additional tracks via the light pipe, so yeah the ultragain thing with light pipe would do the trick. You said roland though...hmm....

    Does the Roland interface only have analog inputs? No light pipe?

    Not sure how much you want to spend, but you can get an m-audio delta 1010 for around $600 new. That would get it done.

    Give us more details.

    ok well i haven't tried the roland with pro tools yet..but the roland has an rbus..between the digital mixer and the sound card...which is an rpc-1 sound card

    the digi mixer is a vm-3100pro

    ok so the beri for $100 the light pipe?( is that just a cable? so the beri has that output...then the wordclock is the sound card?)
