I've recently acquired a old Fender Lace Sensor Jazz Pickup which I want to fit to my Squier Precision.
I've looked at various wiring diagrams and am unsure of what pots I should be using.
The Squier has 500k pots for both vol and tone, but according to the Lace website a 250k is preferable for the J-pup.
Can I mix both 250k and 500k pots (ie use the existing 500k ones for the P pup volume and tone with a 250k pot for the J pup volume)?
Will one pick-up be much louder than the other if I do this?
