Subject: Adjunct Instructor of String Bass Position Open

Please find enclosed a copy of an email that we received from Robert L. Elliott, DMA, Head Department of Music, TSU State University. You will learn that an Adjunct Instructor of String Bass position is open. Please contact Mr. Elliott directly if you are interested.

It was a pleasure to talk with you this morning and I look forward to finding ways for our revitalized union local to connect with the next generation of professional musicians who are studying at Nashville's public university. As I noted when we spoke, we are completing our staffing for the coming academic year. At this point, we are interviewing for an Adjunct Instructor of String Bass, who will teach upright bass (classical and jazz) and electric bass guitar. All of our bass students study in all three areas, so we need someone who is comfortable in all three. As one of the 600 institutions in our country that is accredited by the National Association of Schools of Music, we require that all of our instructors hold a masters degree in music.

We will be completing this interview and hire activity in the next 10-14 days.

    Regards,

    R.Elliott
