Because Photobucket has chosen to in effect "take down" everyone's photos (unless you pay them), we have extended post edit time in the Luthier's Corner to UNLIMITED.  If you used photobucket and happen to still have your images of builds, you can go back and fix as many of your posts as far back as you wish.

Adjustable brass nut??

    Anyone know where I can get a 5 string adjustable brass nut?? And please don't tell me to buy an old warwick bass to canabalize the nut!!

    I think you might be able to cajole the guys at Dana B Goods out of one, if your money is good...give them a call and tell them you're restoring an older Thumb or something.

    They're sold on ebay regularly for about $15. At least the 4 strings are. Do a search there.
