Adjustable Volume pedal?

Discussion in 'Effects [BG]' started by smo, Jul 31, 2021.

  1. Hi all,
So I've got volume pedal that's a bit twitchy, difficult to get that sweet spot, as all the volume change seems to be in 10% of the throw. .... And now I'm wondering if there's a smarter way to do this.

Are there any volume pedals out there, where I can adjust how much volume I have at heel down?
I.E. Full volume with toe down, heel down can be whatever I want?

    Anyone make something like this?

    Cheers

Sounds like you are using the wrong type of volume pedal. They come in both high impedance (500 K Ohm - 250K Ohm) and low impedance types (25K -20K Ohm). Generally for bass guitar you'll want to use a high impedance volume pedal. Low impedance volume pedals are for powered instruments like keyboards.
