I am having some problem with my bass and strings. i just put on a new set of strings and I am getting a fret buzz on every string when I have the action adjusted to where I want it.
I rasised the bridge things where the strings sit on top of until thje fret buzz is gone, but then the action becomes too high. I have not messed with the trust rod yet because i do noy know what to use on the Stertling to turn it or in what direction. please give me some advice

  3. Better yet, call a pro. I'd hate to see you accidentally mess up a $ 1200 bass. Try a local music store and see if they can hook you up with a bass tech.
  4. I'm having the same problem; I know how to adjust a truss rod, but I'm used to the allen wrench type. I can't adjust my musicman's truss rod. I assume you stick an allen wrench in the hole and turn (observing all other adjustment necesitites), but the wheel won't move at all.
