Thanks for the head's up. I caught the show. Adrian Belew. What a resume...Zappa, Bowie, Talking Heads, King Crimson and all his other solo projects and collaborations. I can respect that without an entire show featuring his playing being my cup of tea.....BUT...

Julie Slick! This is the first time I've heard her perform. Fantastic.

Recording of the entire set is still available here -- don't know for how long:

Start video around 14-minute mark unless you enjoy watching an empty stage.

Yeah, no doubt that Belew's music isn't everyone's cup of tea, so it's cool that you could appreciate it anyway.

If you dig Julie's playing you might want to check out the amazing "poopie" that she's doing with a VI in her own band EchoTest -- which is a collaboration with Italian bassist Marco Machera:

Julie is great, but I don't like her sound.

Grindy, growly, gnarly, nasty, gut-wrenching -- what's not to love? drool

Seriously, just as with the music she plays, it's definitely not everyone's proverbial cup of tea.
