Advantage of a head and a cab to a combination

    Whats the advantage of using a Head and cab over a combination.

    i think the biggest advantage of a head and cab(s) setup is versatility. i have a 1000watt head, a 1x15 cab and a 4x10. i can pick or the other cab, or both depending on what style of music, what size venue and wich bass i am playing. i also just put my head into a rack with all my other goodies....conditioner, bbe, tuner, reverb unit...etc.
     
  3. What Tdogg said is true. Also, if you like the sound of a certain amp (Hartke, G/K) you can choose the power you want for max versatility.
