advice about Alembic Epic 6 user

    Hi everybody I would like to know your advice as a Alembic epic 6 , is it a good bass ?

    Sure it is, I have an Epic 4. Bought it in '95, been through hell and back, still one of the best in my arsenal.

    I have an Epic 5 and it's a great instrument. It's a heavy sumbitch, though, and an Epic 6 will be even heavier. How's your back? :D

    I personally wouldn't buy an Alembic without trying it first to make sure the ergonomics were right. I had a fretless Alembic Spoiler 4.
    It was a beautiful instrument, but heavy, and though it was 32" scale it had an uncomfortable reach to the low notes and no string spacing taper between nut & bridge. IME these things can really add up when extra strings are involved.

    my back is not so good .........
    and i like space between strings I actually paly on sadowsky metroline 4c and i really thoses spaces
