Ok i currently play a squier affinity series p bass i love the feel and the balance. it's got a bad buzz when i use the tone nob and has a twisted neck. it's not to bad but i want new one. i'm looking for a new one. i'm looking for something between $200-300. I was just going to get a new one of the same thing but figured i'd ask for some advice.

Personally I would go for either a Squier Vintage Modified or Classic Vibe.

I have recently picked up a VM jazz and the thing is unbelievably good. As good as my MIM.

  3. Buy a Classic Vibe, keep your old bass. Pick up a fretless neck off Ebay & fit it, plus get the cavity screened & the grounding sorted out.

    Sorted!!!

    :)

thanks for the advice and thats definately a will do on the fretless neck. I've been wanting to see the difference in the two. and are you guys pretty sure that it's a grounding issue with the tone nob??
