Advice on "What bass cabs would be recommended for this set up??"

    I'm using a Ampeg IIP Pre Amp with a Trace Elliot ppa 300 watt power amp. It gives 150 watts a channell or single 300watts. I'm wondering what would be the best cab or cabs to run with this. I'm playing everything from smaller club venues to outdoor (back of a truck) gigs. It's mostly rock old and modern aswell as originals (AC/DC, Doors, Killers, Zeplin, The Who).

    Any ideas on what cabs or cab and how powerfull I should go for would be weclome. ( I want to get something good that will last a while)

    hmmm... have you thought about 2 2x10s. with your small gigs you could take one of them, and on your bigger gigs just take both.
    that'd sound killer too.
    or i'd recommend a schroeder 1210, which is a single 12 inch with a single 10. awesome sound and amazing for rock. That would handle 300 watts perfectly and its plenty loud too!
