    I am not an expert on these, but I have heard very good things from a friend. Are you aware of technical changes between this one and the newer ones?

    Thanks for your interest .The amp is about 6 years old and has been great combo . I am not aware of any technical changes between this one and a new one .And yes I would ship to Texas .

    Newer models have a cooling fan. Mine has cooling fins which get very warm when pushed and I just make sure nothing is blocking the rear so air can circulate. No function problems at all and if I need more volume (rarely) I just run a powered aer sub thru sub out.. last combo you will need..

    I'm not sure what "back channel" means in this case, but you can click on someone's profile name and then click "Send private message" when the little dialog box pops up.
