I Support the following: Fodera, Noble Amps, JHAudio, Trickfish Amplification
    Aero Pickups....

Aero pickups are custom made to order. They do have stock pickups but most likely they will be made when you order.

Larry @ aero will ask you some questions like string spacing, pickup voicing (type of tone for the pickups), the size of your existing pickups.

These pickups arent cheap if that is waht you are looking for. But if you are looking for tone at its best ( that is in my opinion) Aero's are the way to go.

Give Larry @ Aero a call and he will discuss it with you and figure out what you are looking for in a pickup.

    Good luck

    Dear Conor:

Thank you for contacting Aero. J Bass 4 Type 1 pickups are the standard
size, and should fit into standard covers with a slight friction fit.
These pickups are $75.00 each (neck or bridge) without covers. Covers are
$7.00 each (neck or bridge) in black plastic. Delivery is 2 weeks.
Payment is VISA/Mastercard, US Postal money order, or certified check.

Please contact me if you have any further questions.

    Best Regards,

    Larry J Pollack

I have a MIM-J fretless with Aero Pickups and a J-Retro. This bass KILLS! :)

The Aero's I have are the J Bass/4 made specifically as a pre 2001 MIM direct replacement (the only ones I know of). Well worth the money IMO.

Steve "Dude" Barr also uses the Aero/J-Retro combo in his Custom Dude bass (currently on the road with Rudy Sarzo). It also has a custom Moses graphite neck made to Steve's specs.
