Some of you may recall my posting query about a Fender USA case that came with a Squire MIK Bullett that I recently purchased. The consensus was 80's. Also recall that both straps were broken at the attachment point and missing the middle section. So, today I'm removing the glued on inserts for access to the entire strap for replacing. Once I got the upper and lower sections removed, I was looking over the layout of the case. I spied a pick. Upon further review, I discovered that it is a well worn Tom Hamilton pick. It's the blue transparent one with his name printed on one side and the Aerosmith logo on the other. The Aerosmith logo side is pretty much worn off. It apparently was wedged between the hard case and the foam insert. While I have my doubts that it's one used by him personally, possibilities do exist. He played Fender Precisions and Jazz basses for many years, and still does a modified '51 Precision. The case did not come with the '87 Bullett. The 80's were big for the band. Shows lots of signs of use. So, did Tom use this pick??? Probably not, but a cool find in any event. :)
