Hello folks, (especially US people, who probably had the chance to try it)

I just passed Aguilar's website and discovered they released the combo's lately. As abvious, I had missed something. Can you tell me how it is?

I'm havin' a Peavey T-Max head by now with a Bag End 4.10'' (Q10BX) and I'm really pleased by the sound. It is nevertheless quite an heavyweight, so perhaps this combo could release it with another GS112 for small to medium sized gigs. Can you give your opinions about the fact it can cope with this combination perhaps, sound, etc...?

And how gorgeous it looks..... :ninja:

    well,

its pretty much just the head attached to their GS112 cab, and it does sound great. lots of fat low end, with a chocolately top end. so, if you know the GS112 cab, and you read the AG500 thread, should give you a good idea of its sounds.

tried one with a Geddy Lee jazz, and the tones were very nice. sounded even better with another GS112. bigger, and more inyourface.

Thank you for your reply. Personally I don't see the point why they make the 212 as a combo version too. Isn't the goal of making a combo small and big sounding? Undoubtly the 212 sounds huge, but portable?

Gassing all the way though... more replies? Please share.
