    Hi everyone!

    I'm planning to get an Aguilar DB 751 (750W @ 4 Ohm ; 400 @ 8 Ohm) in order to substitute my AG 500 sc (500W @ 4 Ohm ; 250 @ 8 Ohm) .

So, in your opinion & experience, I'd like to know:
    - Which one fits better with Aguilar DB 112 (300W RMS; 8 Ohm) + Aguilar DB 112 NT (300W RMS ; 8 Ohm)?
    - Is there any kind of damage risk to use an overpowered amp regarding cabinets max RMS load?
    - Do you think that 1800$ worth the change, expecially in terms of stage volume increase & better sounding rig (I'd use it 90% of time on stage, not at home)?

Waiting for your replies, I thank you in advance for yor attention.

If you listen to your speakers and turn down if they start to fart out or distort, then no damage with having more power.

I have that exact set-up (well, DB750, not DB751). I typically use the AG500 or TH500 though. I love the DB750 but between the TH500 and AG500, I usually have enough volume. Only time I wish I had hauled the DB750 out instead of the AG500 was an outdoor gig with little/no PA support for the bass. (2) TL606 15's and the AG500 was maxed out and I could've used the extra headroom and volume of the DB750.

If you want more volume, you need more speaker. Your current head with two DB212s will trigger earthquake alarms. In Australia.

It's gonna sound incredible. Do it.
